Created by American Idol judge and music executive Simon Cowell, America's Got Talent is a reality talent competition open to contestants of all ages and talents including singing, dancing, comedy, magic, and more.
The show premiered in 2006 and starred judges David Hasselhoff, Brandy Norwood, and Piers Morgan. Judges have gone on to include Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Howard Stern. Simon Cowell joined the show as a judge in 2016.
Past hosts have included Regis Philbin, Jerry Springer, Nick Cannon, and Tyra Banks.
Over the course of 15 seasons, there have been many impressive winners from Season 1 singer Bianca Ryan to magician Mat Franco, who won Season 9, to Season 11's Grace VanderWaal.
